Thrilled! I am 38 years old and have been using medical grade skin care products since I was 25. I've had microdermabrasion + clinical facials, Pixel (x3), Jessners and AHA Peels on a regular basis along with professional skincare products and sunscreen to keep my complexion fresh and bright.
Previously, I had: melasma from taking the pill and my pregnancy, sun damage from my days without sunscreen and occasional breakouts.
Lactic acid peels work from the inside out; they're a 'no downtime' peel which means you do not have an obvious reaction and don't have to take two weeks off. My aesthetician has done the 70% lactic peels on me for years, and I've had the SAME RESULTS doing my own at home now, starting in January 2013.
This is not an entry level peel, but you can dilute it to lower concentrations and work your way up. It's best to have any peel done first at a medspa so you know how your skin will react.
Proper prepping (with salicylic) and rotating product will also make a tremendous difference in the results. It's essential to follow all pre and post directions so that you don't accidentally end up with more pigmentation!
I am a skincare aficionado and I'm absolutely delighted to add this peel to my routine. No one ever guesses my age and consistently place me in my mid-20's.
I do not have perfect genes. For years, my dermatologist prescribed antibiotics and harsh medications to combat my acne. This peel resulted in a beautiful exfoliation that left my skin soft and bright! I purchased 100 ml, 30 ml of the HQ+ and 30 ml Glyco-Lac which I rotate. All are excellent products!
