Can you tell me about TCA peels and if they are safe to use on darkly complected skins?
It is a very strong and effective peel, but has significant risk of complications, including permanent pigmentation changes in dark skin complexions. This is not a peel which you should attempt to apply to yourself.
How does the Lactic/50 Gel Peel compare to TCA Acid Peels?
I would not recommend using TCA Acid Peels at home, because the risk for complication is too great. The Lactic/50 acid is very strong, but should not require down time as with the TCA Peels. Please let us know if we can be of any additional assistance.
