Questions on HQ+ Chemical Peel
- From Josh at 3/27/12 9:02 PM
- Is the 4 minute maximum a suggested limit or a safety limit. If I leave it on longer will it work more or will it damage myself in any way
- Josh,
We strongly suggest that you only use the HQ peel for a maximum of 4 minutes. Leaving this peel on longer could cause adverse results such as brown spots or chemical burns that could take months to get rid of. It is not better to leave the peel on longer.
Please be cautious while using this peel.
Thanks,
Ashley

- Hi... wanted to know if this peel would be good for the back?...have old spots from little acne. thank you
- Cynthia,
Yes, this will help with any and all old acne spots. You must be very careful when using this peel because it is our strongest peel we have. Just make sure you are using the peel every 14 days. Also, in order to make sure those little spots go away, avoid the sunlight, especially when using the peel, as your face will be more sensitive to UV light.
Thanks,
Ashley

- I have your Salicylic Acid 20% peel, your Lactic Acid 70 peel, and your HQ+ peel. So far I have only used the Salicylic Acid and HQ+ peel. I wanted to know which of these peels I can use in conjunction with each other. I am using them to treat old acne scars.
- Maya,
I would just stick with the HQ. We don't recommend using any other peel with HQ because of the strength. I would suggest using this peel every 14 days for 6 applications. Treating old acne scars can be tricky and time consuming, but patience will work the best.
Please email me if you have any other questions,
Ashley

- i wanna know if this will work on dark armpits.
- Dana,
I can't suggest that you put our HQ peel on the arm pit area. The peel is too strong for this sensitive of an area. If you would like use something that will lighten the area up a bit, I would suggest using a Lactic product. You can use a Lactic 70% on this area.
Lactic helps with tone, texture and pigmentation issues. This will work best without potentially harming yourself.
Thanks,
Ashley
